Voter Guides

UPDATE: The Office of Elections has issued the Primary Election Voter Guide. You can see your Precinct sample ballot and Voter Guide at the link https://olvr.hawaii.gov/altballotsearch3.aspx

Some voter guides are useful, others seem to be data mining tools to collect on election metrics.

iVoterGuide is a joint project between AFA Action, FRC Action, Tea Party Patriots, to produce profiles like the following link nationwide. It might be useful to some, but I find the content lacking, given the amount of information already provided to them.

League of Women Voters of Hawaii uses vote411.org and employs a sample ballot format for voters to make and select their choices. This method actually seems highly questionable as it is taking information from voters at a particular address on how they will vote.

Act 115, signed in to law on June 23, 2023, requires that the Office of Elections “shall prepare and mail with each ballot for a primary election a notice to voters that a digital voter information guide is available on the office of elections website. The notice Shall be sent by electronic mail to all voters with special needs who have registered to receive alternate format ballots.” So far, no link has been posted on the Office of Elections website for a 2024 Primary Voter Guide.
