I ask for your vote to humbly walk the halls of Congress and boldly speak and advocate for the people of Hawaii as your Congressional Representative in Washington, DC.

I am a fourth-generation Kaneohe resident. My great-grandfather was a rice farmer in Kaneohe, my grandfather worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, and my father and mother preached the Gospel overseas. After nearly 24 years of service in the US Army, I returned home with my family to Hawaii, to serve my neighborhood and community.

My initial priorities are maintaining Hawaii’s strategic importance at the center of the Pacific, accessing federal funds to upgrade waterways and transportation infrastructure, and reforming federal shipping regulations to give our businesses and consumers fair and equitable access to the mainland and global markets.
